Eaglet Academy U4 Co-ed (born between 9/2/2019-9/1/2020)

Course Description: The Eaglet Academy is our introductory course for young players beginning their soccer journey. An experienced instructor introduces the basic ABC's- Agility, balance, and coordination skills in fun-focused environment. Players discover their first relationship with the ball in seven, half hour courses.  

Included:

• 7 sessions on Saturdays starting 9/9*;
• End of the season-closing ceremonies and awards;
• Technical, operational, and administrative support;
• Certified Coaches with USSF Grassroots licenses or working towards Grassroots licenses; criminal background checks, and Safesport certification.

Micro Academy U5-U6 Co-ed (Born between 1/1/2018-9/1/2019)

Course Description: The Micro-Academy is for boys and girls of all skill levels. The focus for players in this age group is on playing in small-sided games in a fun, social environment. The emphasis is on playing based on the philosophy that the game is the best teacher. Coaches run small-sided games, 3 v 3 or 4 v 4, in forty-five minute sessions in our Free Play sessions on Friday, and our REC Jamboree Sessions on Saturdays. Over the course of the season, advanced players are identified as prospective players and invited to our pre-travel ADAP program starting in the Fall 2023 season

REC Academy U7-U9 Co-ed (born 2015-2017):

Course Description: The REC Academy is for boys and girls of all skill levels. Players are introduced to the FC Dulles REC Curriculum with an emphasis on the development of fundamental technical skills of dribbling, passing and receiving, and shooting and fundamental tactical phases of attacking and defending through small-sided games. Players will meet 3x/week over seven weeks for a training session on Monday nights, a free play session on Friday nights, and an in-house competition (REC Jamboree) on Saturdays (coaches are referees) in our REC Jamboree.

• 7 weeks Saturday Rec. Jamboree games starts 9/9*;
• 7 weeks of practice* (1x/week) starts 8/28;

Suburban Friendship League (SFL)

Course Description: Players in our SFL age groups play competitive games with referees against other clubs in the area. Players are grouped into teams with a coach whose primary responsibility is to create a fun, social environment to learn the game of soccer. Players in the SFL age groups are developed in accordance with our REC Curriculum for SFL players ages U10-U19. SFL teams will have practices 2x/week with an emphasis in the younger age groups on technical skill development (dribbling, passing & receiving, and shooting, individual defending and attacking, and in the older groups more of an emphasis on team tactical phases i.e. attacking, defending, transitional play. SFL teams play 8 games on Saturdays against clubs local to Northern Virginia. 

Age groups:

• U10/U11 (born 2013-2014) 
• U12 (born in 2012)
• U13 (born in 2011)
• U14 (born 2010)

Age groups U10/U11 & U12 will be coed unless we have enough female players to form girls only teams. Female players can play with the boys in age groups U13 & U14. The club will confirm approval before placing female players on boys teams in the U13 & U14 age groups. In certain circumstances, players may be placed in our REC Academy House program.

• 8 Saturday League games (4 home/4 away) in SFL* starting 9/9;
• 8 weeks of practice* (2x/week) starting week of week of 8/28;

*Weather permitting and the fields are open and playable. Schedule subject to change depending on # of registrants and coach and field availability. Due to time constraints, there are no make-up sessions. Canceled SFL games may be re-scheduled depending on coach and field availability.

**Uniform kits to be purchased online at PJs Sports (instructions and purchasing link provided in registration confirmation email. SFL players are required to purchase the SFL Adidas uniform kit which includes a home and away jersey, shorts, and socks. Please note: Players who purchased uniforms for the Fall 2022 or Spring 2023 season are not required to purchase a new uniform kit unless needed. 

Uniforms are required for the Micro Academy, the REC Academy, and SFL programs. Eaglet Academy participants do not purchase uniforms- they receive a program t-shirt included with the registration fee. Please note: if you purchased a uniform in the Fall 2022 season you do not need to purchase again unless needed.

Uniforms are to be purchased online (link will be provided in registration confirmation email) and distributed at the first practice sessions (if purchased before first practice). Sizing charts will be available when purchasing.

Our curriculum is based on national guidelines and designed to instill a lifetime of love & passion for the beautiful game of soccer.

Coaches:

FC Dulles believes volunteer USSF licensed coaches are an integral part of our rec. soccer program. FC Dulles provides educational opportunities through VYSA's Coaching Education Department and guidance for volunteer coaches to actively participate in our rec. program. Recreation Coaches receive a coaching polo for games and a practice t-shirt for training sessions. Upon successful completion of the season tuition fees for parents of players enrolled in our REC program will be refunded.

FC Dulles is excited to introduce the new Referral Program. You know first-hand how much fun your kids have when they're playing soccer alongside friends and how much more convenient it is for you when there are soccer carpool options with nearby neighbors. With this in mind, and with the goal of growing FC Dulles, we are pleased to introduce a new reward program - THE FC DULLES REFERRAL PROGRAM!

This was created for players/families who bring new players to FC Dulles soccer programs. We have seen how effective spreading our programs through word of mouth advertising has been, and how much it can benefit families and players. Because of that now we want to reward these parents.

If you bring players to FC Dulles and they sign-up, and submit your name in the online referral section when registering, and pay their tuition fees, then you will be eligible for the referral bonus. Rewards will only be processed when the referral pays in full or at least four months if they are on an installment plan.

REFERRAL REWARD AMOUNT:

1. Applied to any outstanding balances at FC Dulles for the current season.
2. Any reward balance will be applied to the tuition of the next season* or program with FC Dulles.

*A season for the Travel Academy Program is considered a full seasonal year (i.e. June 2022-June 2023).
