The FC Dulles Travel Soccer Academy is an intensive, highly demanding, club-centric player development-focused program. 

Highly skilled players from around the Chantilly/Northern Virginia area come to FC Dulles to learn from our curriculum, improve as players, learn our style of play from our experienced coaches, compete at the appropriate levels, and most importantly develop a love and passion for the game of soccer!

Coaches select and invite players to their team based on the following (not in order):

• skill level,
• game, and spatial awareness,
• soccer growth mindset (ability to accept challenges, learn, and improve),
• love and passion for the game (including respect for teammates and coaches),
• mental toughness,
• Ability to be coached (to listen, and apply guidance, feedback, and instruction provided from the coach),
• Give full commitment and maximum effort at every practice & game

Players will be placed on an appropriate level team with player development as the first priority.

Players are expected to be committed to participating with FC Dulles and their team activities for the entire seasonal year (mid-June to mid-June of the following year).

Need-based scholarships are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Scholarship recipients will be required to pay at least 50% of their tuition. Application instructions are available when registering.

Included: $1850 full year 

• Fall season (Sept. 1- Nov. 15) and Spring season (April 1-June 14) weekday Academy training- 2x/wk for 10 weeks (approx. 20 Fall; 20 Spring) at a field local to Chantilly. Most of our training sessions and games are at Poplar Tree Park off Stringfellow Road in Chantilly, Franklin Middle School off of Lees Corner Rd. in Chantilly, and Fred Crabtree Park near Crossfield ES. 
• NCSL league fees (includes referee fees) for 8-9 games for Fall & Spring season (Total 16-18 games). Games are mostly local- some games may be 1-2 hours away.
• Coach for training sessions, games, two tournaments, and winter & summer training.
• Coaches with age-appropriate USSF license, criminal background check, SafeSport certification, concussion awareness training, and knowledge and experience teaching the FC Dulles Curriculum.
• Coach's compensation including payroll taxes, worker's compensation insurance, and processing fees.
• Club operational and administrative support.
• Field maintenance costs
• Team video with Veo.
• Two practice t-shirts (one if Spring sign-up). Additional T-shirts ($15ea) offered for sale at initial registration and before the start of the Spring season.
• TeamSnap account for each team
• Two local tournaments within 75 miles of Chantilly (one if Spring sign-up)- one in the Fall; one in Spring season. Tournament selection and dates are at the coach's discretion. Teams can play away tournaments beyond 75 miles but will be responsible for the coach's travel expenses. 
• Winter:
  • 1x/week of outdoor training Jan-Feb (if weather permits); 2x/week of outdoor training in the month of March. 
• Summer:
  • 2x/week training in the month of August. Some coaches may add optional training sessions in July. 
• Fairfax County field user fees for the year.
• VYSA membership fees.
• Club supplemental insurance.

Not included ($300-$500)

• Required: Uniform Kit- home & away jerseys, shorts, socks. Adidas backpack, and training jacket and pants are encouraged to purchase. Uniforms to be purchased online through PJs Sports in Falls Church. A link will be provided when registering. New Adidas uniforms will need to purchased for the 2022-2024 cycle starting with the Fall 2022 season. Uniform purchases are required once during the 2022-2024 cycle unless needed. The next cycle will begin in the Fall 2024 season. 
• Additional tournaments (approx. $60-$70/tournament- could be higher depending on # of players participating and if traveling to an away tournament). 
• Team equipment i.e. first aid kit, cold compresses, tent, portable bench (if needed).
• Winter indoor league games. Some teams will opt to play both the Winter 1 & Winter 2 sessions; some teams will play only the Winter 2 session. The Winter 1 session typically runs from mid-November to the first part of January; the Winter 2 season typically runs from mid-January to the first week of March. 

A Service fee applies to all online payments and covers the cost of the Demosphere registration system, including data privacy, security and PCI compliance. Check and cash payments will not incur a service fee and must be paid in a timely manner. Payments can be sent via Zelle. The Zelle # will be included in the registration confirmation email.

FC Dulles Travel Academy uniform kit is to be purchased online through PJ's sports and picked up at their store in Falls Church (7500 Leesburg Pike #12A, Falls Church, VA 22043) when you are notified the uniform is ready for pick-up. The store does not mail uniform purchases. In some cases the club will send a representative to pick-up uniforms and deliver them to the first practice sessions. Walk-in uniform purchases are not available. 

FC Dulles is excited to introduce the new Referral Program. You know first-hand how much fun your kids have when they're playing soccer alongside friends and how much more convenient it is for you when there are soccer carpool options with nearby neighbors. With this in mind, and with the goal of growing FC Dulles, we are pleased to introduce a new reward program - THE FC DULLES REFERRAL PROGRAM!

This was created for players/families who bring new players to FC Dulles soccer programs. We have seen how effective spreading our programs through word of mouth advertising has been, and how much it can benefit families and players. Because of that now we want to reward these parents.

If you bring players to FC Dulles and they sign-up, and submit your name in the online referral section when registering, and pay their tuition fees, then you will be eligible for the referral bonus. Rewards will only be processed when the referral pays in full or at least four months if they are on an installment plan.

REFERRAL REWARD AMOUNT:

1. Applied to any outstanding balances at FC Dulles for the current season.
2. Any reward balance will be applied to the tuition of the next season* or program with FC Dulles.

*A season for the Travel Academy Program is considered a full seasonal year (i.e. June 2022-June 2023).

If you bring:

• NEW players to the FC Dulles Travel Academy program: $100/player($50 if Spring season).
• NEW players to the FC Dulles ADAP program (U7 & U8): $50/player ($25 if Spring season).
• NEW players to the FC Dulles REC Academy program (Micro, REC 1, SFL): $25/player.
• NEW players to the FC Dulles Eaglet Academy: $15/player

IF NEW PLAYER REGISTERS FOR ANY FC DULLES PROGRAMS OR EVALUATIONS WITHOUT MENTIONING YOUR NAME OR YOUR CHILD'S NAME THE FIRST TIME THEY INITIATE CONTACT WITH FC DULLES, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFERRAL BONUS REWARD FOR THAT PLAYER.

Soccer is more fun with friends! It's EASY to refer your friends, neighbors, and classmates! Here are some ideas on how to spread the word:

1. Work, church, friends, and clubs you already belong to. (i.e. place in the break room, ask your church to post, add to your local community board, pool clubhouse, etc.)
2. Facebook! - Share on your Facebook page with a small testimonial about why your child loves playing soccer for FC Dulles!
3. Have your player hand out fliers to their friends in the neighborhood.
4. Ask your child's teacher if you can put the FC Dulles flier in their class Friday Folder
