ADAP SPRING 2022 Overview:

How do you choose the right development program and soccer club for your advanced U7/U8 player (born in 2014 & 2015) to prepare for travel soccer starting at U9?

Does the club have a stated objective and pathway for advanced U7/U8 players? At FC Dulles the objective of our ADAP program is to develop and prepare our young players for the next level: the FC Dulles Travel Academy starting at U9.

Does the club have a curriculum? The FC Dulles ADAP program (Advance Development Academy Program) utilizes an advanced FC Dulles Curriculum created by our Technical Director J. Marcelo Gangotena. The ADAP curriculum focuses on building individual technical skills including passing & receiving, agility, & coordination through age-appropriate small-sided games in a fun, learning environment to support the club's playing style. 

Who are the coaches? Our Technical Director is the head coach of this pivotal group

When does the Spring 2022 season start? The Spring 2022 season for the ADAP program starts the last week of March. Training is 2x/ week on Monday and Friday nights- Monday at Franklin MS3; Friday at Poplar Tree Park #2. For both days, the times are from 5:30-6:30 PM. Competition is typically on Saturday afternoons: In-house at Poplar Tree 2 from 4-5:00 PM and, if available, against neighboring clubs.  

How do I join? Selection to the ADAP program is through an evaluation process. Evaluations are held on Monday nights through February from 5:30-6:30 PM at Greenbriar Park #5 and in March from 5:30-6:30 PM at Poplar Tree Park #2. After evaluation, players that are ready will be invited to join and register for the Spring 2022 ADAP season or if players need additional time to improve, recommended to join our Spring 2022 REC program. Players are required to pre-register so we know where to send the invitation.

How much does the ADAP cost? The ADAP tuition for the Spring 2022 season is prorated. The cost is $295/player including all fees (except a uniform-$60 and credit card fees if choosing to pay with that payment method)

Please note: Advanced players born in 2016 are welcome to register for evaluations.
